In the north of Murree, lies Ayubia National Park which serves as the perfect spot for a picnic for visitors. The protected area is set between thick, evergreen trees and lush green valleys. The national park is home to 104 species of plants and 203 species of birds including the golden eagle and vulture. Appreciate the breathtaking views of the forest and go hiking on the Pipeline Track. The chairlift placed in the center of Ayubia offers a chance to view the forested hills from above. Around the chairlift, there are numerous local shops to buy handmade crafts, cultural shawls, jewelry, and trinkets.
Nathia Gali set in the clouds surrounded by picturesque greenery is yet another spot for visitors. The Mushkpuri Top lies here and the sloping grassy pastures are perfect for a hike. You can go to Samundar Katha Lake to enjoy the icy water and the lovely waterfall or the Ayubia Moto Tunnel, a preserved historical treasure. The Saint Mathews Church is an unmissable landmark in Nathia Gali.
